Once a month I have my day brightened by this little package coming through my door, and December was no exception. This month the team have paired up with British fashion designer Matthew Williamson, an icon of luxe design.
I loved last months box, and this one is every bit as beautiful to look at, with the red and gold tones giving it a wonderful Christmas feel!
It’s not just the outside of box I loved though, I was really pleased with the contents this month too.
First up was this full sized blender brush for the spectrum collection, RRP £4.99.
I love spectrum brushes, and have had one in a previous box, so to have another is great. As with all their brushes, this one is fantastic, and the perfect shape to create a smoky eye look.
Next up is an item I’ll admit I’m still a little afraid to try; Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo, RRP £13.95.
The reason for my hesitation is that this detoxifing shampoo is an exfoliating shampoo. Designed to be used twice a month to strip away product build up and purify your scalp.
I frequently colour my hair, and fear that as this shampoo is designed to remove product, it will strip or fade the colour from my hair. Perhaps I’ll save it to use a few days before I next colour, so It doesn’t matter either way?
The next item I pulled from the box was the Balence Me wonder eye cream, RRP £20.
I’m a fan of the Balence Me brand, and this is no different. Containing naturally brightening ingredients such as lemon, cucumber and witch hazel, this light weight cream sinks into the sensitive skin around your eyes quickly.
For the smell alone, this next item could be my favourite in this months box. The Baija Paris caramelised honey body scrub, retailing at £14.90 smells absolutely devine!
When I twisted the cap off without looking at what it was, I genuinely thought this was something I could eat!
The wonderful blend of sugar, honey and sunflower seed oil has left my skin feeling amazingly soft and smooth.
The final item in this months box was a full size, LOC matte lipstick, in ‘colour me confident’.
Retailing at £6.50, this is a lovely little lipstick, although the wear time isn’t great. It’s definitely at the cheaper end of the scale, so does come off whenever you eat or drink.
That said, it is a lovely Christmas shade, and does go nicely with the colour scheme of the box.
All in all, I’m very pleased with the contents of this months box. For me, it’s probably on a par with the one I received last month, which makes me very excited to see what is in store for us in January!
